Still prevalent today are the timeless and classic words of Gil Scott-Heron; considered the Godfather of Rap because his music reflects the turbulence, uncertainty, and increasing pessimism of the times, with a satirical edge told in the tradition of oral poetry and storytelling.

The ensemble cast of poets and musicians includes Gia Scott-Heron, Conney Williams, Lorenzo Frank, Clent Bowers, Yawo Watts, Art.Us Mansoir, The ORACLE, and executive producer Tuesday Conner (Founder of ICCC2 & Poets Jazz House). Directed by sisters Lynne and Tuesday Conner (International Award-Winning Producers and Filmmakers). Both are alumni of Inner City Cultural Center under the direction of C. Bernard Jackson.
