The Mainstage is a beautiful, artistic, and storied space that is used for productions, readings, workshops, rehearsals, events, concerts, and meetings. SoHo Playhouse is a split receiving house and producing house meaning that half of our productions are rentals.  
Rental costs are determined by the needs of the rental and estimates can be provided once availability is confirmed.
Email requests to Britt@sohoplayhouse.com with the date(s) and space in which you are interested. Please be sure to include a detailed description of the project, any technical needs, expected number of participants, and any other pertinent information.
The SoHo Playhouse is a Landmark theatre that has hosted some of New York's best. We can meet your needs and our friendly staff will accommodate any type of special requests.

RENTAL INFORMATION

FACILITIES

MAINSTAGE: 178 seat proscenium theatre on the main floor. Stage measures 23.5 feet wide, by 20 feet deep. Height from deck to grid is 9’2” feet. 
DRESSING ROOMS: Three total. Two good sized dressing rooms both with private bathrooms.  One dressing room includes a shower.
LAUNDRY FACILITY: The theatre is equipped with washer/dryer.

SERVICES

EQUIPMENT: Both facilities come fully equipped with Light, Sound and Projection equipment. For inventories please refer to the Technical Rider.
BOX OFFICE: Presently equipped with OvationTix ticketing system. On line tickets available 24/7 through www.sohoplayhouse.com. Rental shows featured on this website.
HOUSE MANAGEMENT: SoHo Playhouse provides a trained House Manager for each performance.
MAINTENANCE: General Maintenance- a standard garbage removal included with rentals. Note this does not apply to set or prop removal and or carting.
ELECTRICITY: Electricity use is included in all rentals.
BAR STAFFING: The bar and lounge are open and staffed by SoHo Playhouse for all performances.
