As a contemporary artist, songwriter and as a musician Firouz FarmanFarmaian's production has been constant since the founding of Paris based art-rock outfit PLAYGROUND circa 2003 and the release of two celebrated consecutive Playground albums, including an unreleased lost album, number of EP’s, remixes and singles. The band’s second and official last opus PLAYGROUND NIGHTOLOGY went gold in France in 2010. After 2014 FarmanFarmaian gave birth to new explorations that over time solidified under FORRM, an experimental rock ensemble that released its debut album FORRM NU FORRM in 2022 on the 59th Biennale di Venezia in 2022. The followup album is announced for 2025 with We R The Nomads Agency, preceded by the GALACTICA Maxxi Single EP released 12.12.24 on the occasion of the band’s US debut in NYC at the Soho Playhouse ( 12.09.24 ) and the Museum of Arts & Design ( 12.12.24 ).
